That would not be a good motivation. You would join the army because you want to learn a trade, serve your country, count on the GI Bill when you get out or make a whole career out of it.

Are you nuts!!!!!! Be your self (alive at home) Don't sign up to fight a war that is not ours to impress a bunch of idiots. Joing the army should be a choice made for your self not to impress some idots.

if you want to serve your country, join the coast guard, or stay home and volunteer to help the homeless or something
if you want to serve Israel, Texas oil tycoons, Halliburton, and a few of the people in Iraq, join the army, navy, airforce, or marines
I don't have anything against military personnel, I just think they are not being used properly

Hi Owen,,,, look pardner,,, if you have to ask this question,, you do not need to be in the Army.. my advice if you want to serve your country,, then join the Army,,,,,,
I was in for years,, and I was in Special Forces....so I know what I am saying.....thank you very much,,,,,

No I wouldn't and you shouldn't. You should join if you believe in what we're doing and believe in your ability to help. The military only works great when everyone in it believes in what they are fighting for.
