If a man doesn't open the door for me, I wait for him to do it. Just to show him how to treat a lady and that I wish to be treated as one. But when it comes to those automatic doors I'll open the door for the guys I choose to flirt with.
Although I might be a tomboy at heart and in some of my actions, in public I'm a lady commanding respect.

The old fashionished way: man opens the door, pulls the chair, helps into the coat: it makes me feel very special, I do appreciate a man who does that. On the other hand, I do not mind opening the door for a man---however, I think that there is something special in it when a man opens a door, pulls the chair, helps into a coat(or out of it).

Well, sweetie, most of don't get giddy or gush but it does feel nice to be recognized. I think you should dress up in drag and experience door opening first hand like we do. That would be the best way for you to learn. Yeah...you probably should wear a blonde wig.

I love it. At first I was slightly uncomfortable, but then I realized he done it out of kindness and respect for not just me but himself. It makes me feel like I'm important to him. ALL guys not matter if your dating the girl or not should opens doors for girls if your walking with her, open the door for her. It says a lot about you.

Well, for me, it takes me feel insufficient. So next time, I'll hold a door open for my man. This way it's equal. However, the act makes me feel special, I blush a bit.

It makes me feel flattered usually, but it depends on HOW he does it, i mean like if he's reading his newspaper and opened the door brusquely and says, "Go." Then i'd still be a bit flattered but not that much so, but if he smiles at me and acts gentlemanly then i'd probably be blushing as well.
