if you want a saving account talk with your parents and let them go to the bank with you and set up the account.
I think that this is a good idea and learn how to manage your money.

Some banks have special accounts for kids that have lower requirments and no fees. You should check with the banks in your area.

Oh...one of your parents might have to be on the account with you.

Yes you can have an account. The terms may be somewhat different than for an adult. Current identification requirements will probably require a parent/guardian named on the account.

yes a savings acount. Bank of america is even starting some sort of checking thing for kids but both require your parents.
