Well, smoke generally deters bugs from coming near anything, but if you mean when you're not actually smoking I don't think so. Usually mosquitoes will bite you if you're sweating as they're attracted to the odour. Maybe you just don't perspire as much as the ppl you hang out with?

It may or may not. Mosquitoes are attracted to people by their own scent. You do not smell "appealing" to them. It may be your cigarettes, laundry detergent, diet, deodorant, etc. Often, pregnant women and people who wear perfume/cologne are more attractive to mosquitoes.
