be glad you aren't marrying her...if he loves her, then stand by him, you don't have to like her, but you do have to respect your grandfather...even talk to him if necessary, you might find that her annoying attitude/actions are really just nervousness trying to appease you and your blood relatives.
Good Luck!

I'm sorry, Sweetie. Unfortunately, there is not really anything that you can do about a wedding that is going to happen tomorrow.
I've seen this happen before, and it turned out to be an awful situation. My son's girlfriend's grandfather married a woman who was only interested in his money. Because his seven kids knew that about her, the put alot of distance between themselves and their father and his new bride.
Because they did not go see their father and they did not allow their children to go see him, the woman had the perfect opportunity to convince him that his family did not care for him. Of course, they still loved him, but they just could not stand to go around the new wife because they knew that she was up to no good.
As they expected, the woman quickly drained his bank account by asking for expensive cosmetic surgery, a new home, new cars and other things.
The seven sons all worked for the father in a family business. A year after he married this woman, she insisted that he take all of the business away from his sons. He called a sherriff with no warning at all and took back all of the business equipment and told them that they were fired and would not be getting another paycheck.
All seven kids had to go out and find new jobs right away to support their families. Seems the new wife was angry about the kids not liking her and she got them back by taking away their jobs and ruining their relationships with their father.
I think that the moral of this story for you would be that the best that you can hope to do is make an extra effort to spend time with your grandfather. It will be difficult because you don't like the new wife. If you keep loving him(and you don't feel the new wife's love is true), he will eventually see who truly loves and cares for him. Besides, it will REALLY get on the new wife's nerves when she sees that she can't run you off.
Killing someone with kindness really does work. It's hard to do, but if you act like you like this new lady, she will be the one that looks like a real jerk when she talks bad about you!
Just keep calling him and going to see him as often as you can. Don't allow him to pull away from you just because this woman is trying to keep all of his attention to herself.
I hope things work out well for all of you.

I feel that you should realize what your grandfather is looking for is happiness and satisfaction. At this point in life he is looking for someone to spend his days with and to give him peace. If he finds this in her, I feel that you should find some sort of acceptance for them. I know of a situation similar to yours and the family (the kids) tries their best to associate on a light manner with the wife and not let her intimidate them.
