That is a myth. All of the brain is used (except in people w/ damage or disorders) at some point or another. The differing parts of the brain serve differing purposes, so it is highly unlikely that a large percentage of it will be used at any one time, but rather certain parts are used only when their specific function is necessary.

Well we use our brain a lot but there isn't really a percent that is required to know,but it's so much,because our brain is complex and powerful.

Our brain's 3 lbs. 20% of that is .6lbs. It is because most of our brain isn't used for storaing information. Most are reflexes, muscle movement, and synapse.
