I think so.
The looks of the car and the name are VERY gay.
For the same amount of money, I'd go for another classic like a Camaro.

The Rabbit rocks!!

I loved the first ones, and was somewhat annoyed when they changed the name just as I became old enough to purchase one...
I bought it anyway - an '87 -- and another, a '95 -- and another, a 2000! All have served me incredibly well! I've driven them all over 160,000 miles on the original clutch. the '95 had almost 250,000 miles before the engine finally gave out. I definitely got my money's worth from each of them.

The 2000 has 160,800 on it now, and it took me through a HUGE puddle that was almost 2 feet deep yesterday! There were SUVs and Tractor-trailors that wouldn't even try, but I watched a Mercedes sedan go through and knew my baby would do it, as long as we were heavy enough... I got nervous a couple times, but we made it without stalling!!

I'm saving for a new car and would by the Rabbit in a heartbeat, if my son and his friends weren't so darned big. I saw the car at the NY Auto Show and fell in love all over again!! Of course the new Eos convertible also caught my eye, but again, the backseat isn't enough for the basketball players I lug around... sigh...

I can't believe teenagers still use the word gay as an insult. That is so passe.

The car is sweet! Who gives a **** about a Camaro anyways? I wouldn't give you $10 for one of those **** fest cars.
