I'm pretty offended that these completely non-religious people wear chains with big crosses on them! Why do they do that? And don't whine about me judging without knowing because it's obvious they're not religious with what they do! So they're either trying to give the impression they are or they're just being ridiculous. Anyway, could anyone give me some serious answers with ideas of what these people are trying to show or whatever? Thanks!

They are trying to show people they are religious.
Also they want to show off the " Bling- Bling " and show how much money they have.

1. Latinos are very religious, I should know, I am one. They are true to their religion. They may not go to church or anything, but to them, they are true to their culture and their religion. Many rappers are Latinos.
2. They grew up with a religion. They may swear, talk about gangs, violence, but in all reality, they would save the world if they had to, they are good people.
3. Rappers like bling. Crosses are a popular bling-bling, so for some of them, it is just following the style.
Daddy Yankee, I a Puerto Rican, he does not rap in english. When translated, he talks all about religious stuff.

Me myself was a part of the whole big chain and cross but i was doing it for the look .It all boils down to is that everyone has some kind of faith in something some kind of belief,but most do it for just what I was doing it for just a look.The cross is a fad that will never go away,you could kill, preach, sale your body the cross just gives you some kind of presidence of hope.That's my take on it.

Because it looks cool. Religion doesn't own the rights to that symbol. Anyone can wear it if they feel like it - it doesn't necessarily mean they are religious.
