Me... Singaporean... Learn this from my Thai sister in law... How about Thai Tom Sum - Sour Soup with Fish... If U or anyone like it contact me... I will give more detail of the ingredients...

To make the stock, put the water into a large saucepan with the tamarind, chiles, kaffir lime leaves or bay leaves, ginger, galingal, lemongrass, and salt.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 20-30 minutes. By this time the stock will be very fragrant from the lemongrass and other aromatic ingredients.

Strain this through a fine sieve, discarding the solids.

In a large saucepan, heat the oil and fry the onion until soft, then add the stock you have just made.

Simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the chicken or vegetable stock or water, if desired.

Add the mustard greens, watercress, and daikon.

Simmer for 4 minutes.

Increase the heat and bring the stock to a rolling boil, then add the fish and cilantro.

Let the mixture boil for 5 minutes, then add the soy sauce and fish sauce.

Cook the soup for 1 more minute...

The most important ways that the people can combat global warming is getting rid of their older model cars (1979 Buick) because, older cars emmitt more toxic fumes into the air. Its obvious that the more technological advanced a car is, the less harmful gases it emmitts. A car that was built 3 or 4 years ago will be more economy friendly than a car that was assembled 35 years ago. For high populated cities such as New York, Bus and Taxi companys should replace current vehicles with cars that are powered by hydrogen or electricity. Just think, if every major city used the Toyota Prius as taxi's, there would be a decreased level of pollution, and also taxi fares could be drastically lower as well.

Chicken Ritz
I love this recipe because it's so easy to throw together and takes no time to serve. It's a half hour in the oven and it's ready. It can be prepared a day ahead of time for those busy people, just keep it refrigerated. It's served best with cranberry sauce to the side or just spread on top of it after its cooked..it's yummy!!
2 lbs boneless chicken breasts (as much as you'd like to prepare)
1/2 cup butter, melted (I use one stick for about 4 chicken breasts)
2 packages of ground-up Ritz crackers
4 servings

1. Cut off all unecessary fat from chicken breasts.
2. If breasts are thick, cut in half so you butterfly them.
3. Pound down with a mallet so they're not too thick, but not paper thin either.
4. Dip the breasts in your melted butter, both sides.
5. Dip the buttery breasts into the ritz cracker crumbs, on both sides and press firmly so the crumbs really stick to it.
6. Place on a cookie sheet in oven set at 350* for 15 minutes on both sides.

Here is a favorite of mine.
Chicken Spagehtti
Ingredients:
1lb chicken, cut into 1 inch cubes
Small pkg of spagehtti noodles
Velveeta ( about 1/3 of pkg, cut into cubes)
2 cans of rotel, drained
bell pepper, diced
yellow onion, diced
margarine or butter

In large pan, start to boil noodles. While they are cooking, in a large frying pan, cook chicken, bell pepper, and onion in a little bit of butter until lightly browned. When the noodles are done boiling, drain. Put the noodles back in pan. Add in a small amt of butter ( about 1 tablespoon), and then the rest of the ingredients, including rotel. Allow cheese to melt. Serves about 4- 6 people. I usually serve it with garlic cheese bread. Parmesean cheese is also good on the meal. Takes about 20 minutes to cook. It's my husband's favorite meal. I use regular rotel, but there is also mild and hot, so it varys on what you prefer. Enjoy the recipe! I have many more if you like that one. E-mail me at Autumn_Anne@yahoo.com . Byes!

I make 20 minute ravioli - it's quick, easy, and versatile.
Buy one package of refrigerated ravioli, one can diced tomatoes, one onion, one can kidney beans, and some shredded mozzarella cheese.
Put a pot of water on the stove for the ravioli, and chop the onion while you're waiting for it to boil. Open the can of tomatoes and the can of kidney beans, and drain and rinse the kidney beans. Once the water is boiling, cook the ravioli according to the directions on the package. While it cooks, saute the onion in a little olive or vegetable oil, and once it's tender, add some pepper, thyme, basil, oregano, and garlic powder. Saute the spices for a minute, then add the tomatoes and beans and turn the heat down. Once the ravioli is done, drain it and add it to the pan, simmering for about five more minutes. Put on plates, top with shredded mozzarella, and serve. :) Yum.
