Someone once told me that mineral water can not freeze. Is this true? and why?

It is a matter of degrees. As a previous responder says, any liquid can freeze. Look at the space program and all the problems they had to overcome in order to lubricate metals in orbit.

Take anything to Absolute Zero and all molecular activity will stop. That means it will freeze and then some.

In Apollinaris mineral water, there is 110 mg of sodium per serving. With that much salt ... it is hard to freeze.
I've had bottles out in zero degree weather and it did not freeze.

yes it can freeze. i have done it. some liquids dont freeze such as vodka it will just stay chilled. some wines.
