i know what youre talking about .... i have a rf 400s 2 channel in my car ..... basically the same setup ..... anyways .... use 1 channel most people use the right channel for this (there is no point in bridging the amp ... just believe me on this one) and parallel wire the voice coils on your sub ...... 2 ohm load on a 2 ohm stable channel

have fun with the boom

Well....ignore ALL of the above answers because a GREAT part of the puzzle is missing.

How many watts RMS is your sub?

This IS VERY IMPORTANT when trying to answer your question.

That amp is:

125W X 2 @ 4 Ohms RMS or
500W X 1 @ 4 Ohms RMS

If your sub is a dual 4 ohm, you will have to get another dual 4 ohm sub to hook it up to this amp with an RMS rating of 250 watt each. Each subs coil is wired in parallel, then the subs are wired in series for a total of 500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms. The will be bridged.

E-mail me and I can get you on the right track.

2 ohm load: take the positive from the amp (don't bridge the amp, one channel only) and connect it to the positive on the speaker. then take the negative and do the same. now, take a set of speaker wire and run the positive on one side of the speaker to the other side, and repeat it for the negative. now do the same thing on the other speaker. email me if you have any questions.

you need to run your RCA jacks to your amp get a heavy gauge wire for your power run this direct from the battery find the little blue wire on your radio this is the remote wire it will turn your amp on with the stereo fid a good ground also use heavy gauge wire then run heavy gauge speaker wire from your amp to your sub you can use one channel or you can use both one for each sub

You can't do it if your amp is not bridgeable. If it is, usually it's the negative of one side and the positive of the other side. Mine is like that.

Just use one channel.
