You need to tell your mother that you are interested in this boy and that you want to start dating. If she says that you are too young see if she will compromise with you. Ask her if you could see this boy if it was a group date. You never know, maybe she will say that is ohk. Then you can go see your friends and your new boyfriend. If you sneak around behind your mother's back and she finds out you may not end up dating until you are 30!

I'm not sure how old you are or what your relationship is with your parents but it sounds to me that you need to start by being honest. Sure your parents might be upset that you initially lied, but by coming clean you can prove to them that you are making a sincere effort to be honest with them which means they will trust you more. You would be amazed at what honesty can do for your relationship with your parents. If you truly like this guy and you are honest, maybe one of your parents can chaperone a date. I know it's not the best option, but it will allow you to be honest with your parents and possibly continuing seeing this guy without having to sneek around. Sneeking around is the worst option because usually in the end, someone always gets hurt.
