NO!

First of all it could be considered rape, if your parents find out and decide to press charges, by law they can. That is if you guys have sex.

Second of all, don't you wonder WHY he cant get a girl his own age?
Probably because they see right through his games and lies. Older guys go for younger girls because they are more nieve.

What about when he wants to go clubbin, you cant go...

Some older guys just like adding virgins to their lists of conquests.

What could you guys really have in common? He works, you should be in school, your underage for clubs, he's not, he probably drives, you probably don't, you probably (should have) a curfew, he doesn't. Your parents probably won't approve of the age difference, which means you will have to sneak around and lie in order to spend time with him, that spells TROUBLE!

Tell him to get lost, and find someone your own age.

When I was MUCH younger I liked older guys too, but you know... ALL they wanted was sex.

NO! When you're 24, you'll think back to your mentality when you were 17 and you'll understand just how wrong this is. It's hard to explain until you gain more wisdom, but a 24 year old knows things that you can't imagine.

And that's not a good thing for a relationship. At these ages in our society, this type of relationship should be illegal.

If it grow to be a query of a 30 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old an a 37 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old, no concern. there is in simple terms too large a distinction, bodily and psychologically between a 17 and 24 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old. i don't a lot shield it.

Well when I was 17 I dated someone that was 26 and I married him. I totally regret it (except my beautiful children). I wish I never dated a man that was to old for me. You don't think there is much of a difference but there really is. Now I am 26 and I date guys around my age. So stick with guys around your age older men are nothing but trouble when your only 17!!!

well aside from the fact thats its a bit illegal, no.

Good rule of thumb is to not date anyone older than Twice your Age minus 12 years.

17 x 2 - 12 = 22

No. Honestly I think you are too young to be dating someone that old. You are still in highschool...right? You need to find someone around your age...18-20. But you know if this is the right thing to do.

Yes it is fine as long as nothing bad is done.

Remember these laws are only 50 years old back in the day it was normal and right.

If you, him and the family approve it is fine.

I don't think it is a very good idea. He can't find a girl his own age so he's trying to take advantage of a younger girl. I bet there is only ONE thing on his mind.....

check your states laws. He could go to prison for statutory rape because you are not 18 yet. Is that what you want? Anyone, I mean ANYONE could rate you out and he'd be in trouble.
