I'm guessing this is probably a heredity thing. There are a lot of women out there with this problem. My first suggestion, take her to a beauty parlor and ask them about different options she could take before waxing. Sometimes, if the hair isn't very thick, bleaching is a better option. The best way to permanetly get rid of the unwanted hair is to have lazer hair removal, which can be kind of expensive. A cosmetologist would be able to tell you the best option for her. Someone really needs to look at it before you just hop to the waxing. As for being too young for it, I would say no. If it's bothering her self confidence that much, then there needs to be something done about it. I wish you luck and if you need help with anything else, feel free to e-mail me at Autumn_Anne@yahoo.com . I am a cosmetologist and might be able to help you further.

She might be a bit too young. I'd suggest getting one of those little shavers that are meant for facial hair. If those don't help much & people are still saying things then go ahead & wax. But I really don't suggest waxing until she's at least 14.
I've waxed younger girls, I don't think they're ready to take the pain. It seems to hurt them more than it does some one that is older.

Not really because I am 14 and I did laser hair removal on my upper lip (aka. way better) because it goes away forever. If she waxes maybe her hairs will become thicker so it is more noticeable. Safe some money to do laser because it is worth it. Also the sideburns will be o.k to wax.

If it bothers her then let her do it (I would make her do it herself). I would think her 'sideburns' shouldn't be too noticable at 12 and it could look wierd after she's done it, so maybe start with the lip and see how that goes. If it goes okay lt her do the sideburns later. But don't let her get obsessed with her looks. It could lead to real issues later.
Good Luck.

Being a 12 year old is hard enough...children at that age place a high value on fashion, prettiness etc. ...let her wax.

i dunt think it's to young for her to wax but if you want just wait until she's 13 but i started waxing when i was 12 so i dunt think thats a young age
but if it's really noticable then you should let her and do it at home its much easier.
