I'd really like to see sushi offered in fast food restaurants. What type of fast food would you like to see?

Hey, Fast Food is Fast Food. Thus, the inference is that according to the Fast Food culture, it is strictly against the ethics to introduce food items which generally belong to formal category and the high class. Well, Fast Food is the food for the "common people" and the following stars are: -

1. Pizza

2. Hot-dog

3. Hamburger

4. Soda

5. Milk shake

6. Ice-cream

7. Pan-cakes

8. Coffee

And all that!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as menu options go, I would really like to see places step up their seafood offerings, the way they did their chicken offerings last year....yes, I'd like to snag more than just deep-fried fake Cod at your average fast-food place, if I am going to have to ride a bus for half an hour to get there (seriously! There are no traditional fast food places *left* in my neighborhood! If I want pizza, Chinese or Mexican food (ugh! on that last one) it's a go, but if I want a *simple* cheeseburger, it's a damn bus ride)....yeah, if it takes a bus ride, I am going to want something special....

Popcorn fish (or shrimp) and chips (fries that is), at least, if not something closer to a salmon steak or some lobster on rare occasion??

Hmm, as far as *whole new restaurant* ideas....well, we know how to do Popcorn-style fish, chicken, shrimp, etc. It is only going to be a matter of time before we have a place that just specializes in *that*, and does it ALL from the depths of a deep fryer and a fridge.... :)

But aside from that sort of decadence....what I'd really like to see, is a place that *deviates* some from that tried-and-true "meat/starch/drink" formula. Maybe someplace that specializes in fruits and salads....or a place that simply does "home cooking" really fast (I mean, come on, how long *does* it take to do a quick meatloaf dinner for one with some mashed potatoes and gravy on the side? Or some mac & cheese?).

I dunno. I personally think that any new ideas in fast food are a) going to be shouted down by the media cliques (because that movie "Super Size Me" didn't kill Super-sizing, Jay Leno did), and/or b) ran out of business before they even have a *chance* of showing up in my neck of the woods.

(or it will be pricey yuppie kinds of stuff designed to shut me out, as usual....)

I'd like to see vegetables availabe that wouldn't be outrageously expensive. How disgusting is it that you can get a triple cheeseburger for less than you'd pay for a salad? Dieting would be much easier if access to veggies on the run was easier.

Aside from that, fast-food caribbean cuisine would be awesome.

Indian fast food! Yeah!

In Boston there's a Dunkin' Donuts that serves sushi in Chinatown... You might want to check it out (although I can't vouch for them - I'd rather get my donuts in a fish-free location). :P

You can't make good food fast. I guess I'd like to see like another hot dog place... Weinersnitzel is like the only one.

Fresh fruits of the season. Like, how nice would it be to go to McD's and ask for a burger and bowl of cherries in the Summer? :) Or, Chicken Sandwich and a peach. I mean, the mix of organic and cooked would be awesome.

That's a great idea!

Although, I would be a little scared of sushi that came from ....say...McDonald's.

"Yea, I'll take a......um......McCalifornia Roll, and a Tempura McTuna. Can you super size that for me?"
