This question is intimately linked with another, that is, "Do you believe in a divine Creator (God) who formed you and built the universe?"

Your use of the word "meant" implies intent by someone else. In other words, is there another person out there who the guy who built this thing we call life intended - or meant - to be with me?

If you believe in God, then He has His own intentions, and so yes, there is someone out there who, in His eyes, is the absolute best match for you. "Yup, JoeElectrician is the one I see for Simplicity."

If you don't believe in God, then all life is ruled by randomness. Read about Quantum Mechanics. Read about The Three Laws of Thermodynamics. Its all just molecules. There is no intent. So any relationship you have is pure luck, and one founded purely on your ability to blend yourself to the other person (and visa versa).

Think about the larger question, and then you may have greater peace with the answer to the one you asked.

Best to you ... and have fun with JoeElectrician, he's made for you!

this is my advice..... yes there is sumone meant for everybody. my thing is, there is sumone that everybody falls in love with. the person your meant for could be an ex or sumone somewhere u never met. love is hard to find. just like letting go is hard. there is someone you are supposed to be with in your life. if your with the one and lose them that could be the one. you know when u have it or you lost it.....

I believe there is a person out there for everyone - someone who is absolutely perfect for them in every way. There are others who can make you happy, who you can love deeply and be in love with, but who will never quite be as perfect for you as that one person - your soulmate, I guess you'd call it. Some people never find their soulmate, and some are very lucky and do.
I think I've found mine...cross your fingers for me. :)

'Meant for' is a questionable term. I think there are several people who we are so compatible with, it seems like we're practically meant for each other.

Simple answer...no, no one is perfect for someone else, there will always be something they disagree on which is not a bad thing as it keeps the conversation/relationship fresh.
