That's awesome! I've never heard of anyone doing that!! It's safe, right?

The Greesy answerer had a great suggestion...I love messing with people's heads like that.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and each time anyone asks me when I'm due, I yell, "I'm not pregnant!!" LOL...it's so funny to watch them squirm. (then I tell them I'm just kidding and I tell them the date)

I don't know... My son was very pale, then summer came and we just play outside all day long. I think a natural tan is more healthy than a fake tan. Fake tans are still new enough that we don't know what their long-term side effects are. I think people are too paranoid over the sun and skin cancer these days when really, all it takes is common sense to avoid it. Anyway, its your child, do as you like with him. You know best for your own child regardless what other people tell you.

LOL All my Armor!
Linda d - you should really make sure that stuff is safe for your baby.Health is much more important than appearance, after all.
BTW -Do you really get compliments like this from strangers all the time? If you do you must be actually asking them what they think. Are you really that insecure? You sound like my 12 year old who thinks all the boys like her just because they look in her direction.
To other posters who might think this is mean - check out some other questions of hers.

That cant be good and even if its not harmfull why waste your time? Babies are beautifull naturally whether they are white as snow or black as coal and anything inbetween.I can imagine a day shopping for you....middle aged couple walks up to you and says " My what a nice tan your baby has and wow you have really perky boobs for a woman who has kids...you must not have breastfed, well good for you because you dont see many perky boob moms and fake tan babies like you did in the old days" BLECH...you are as shallow as they come,of course people wouldnt believe he was your baby if he didnt have a tacky orange tan like you....get him a fake looking perm next.

That's not good a baby has skin that absorb ten times more then adult skin.

The sun is fine he needs it for bone growth as long as he doesn't burn the sun is safe.

Stop doing this there is no need to tan your baby I'm sure he is the cutest baby no matter what.

That's fine - and seeing as you live in Florida is a cheat's way to give him a tan that's much safer than the real thing. This way he gets to keep in the cool crowd with all the other kids on the block, without risking melanoma!

I read the pkg directions on my bottle and it doesn't mention use on children.

Common sense says to continue to apply sunscreen on top of the tanner. Choose one that is least likely to irritate baby skin.

i think its a good idea as long as it isnt harming the little guys skin or making him rash. I would ask the doc just in case though.. However adding a little color to his skin probably does make him look quit a bit healthier.

It may not be harmful but it is still absolutely ridiculous. What will you do next - dye his hair? Babies do not need to have tanner on their skin to look cute.

If you were looking for a different response to the question I couldn't ascertain it from the question.
Hope I stayed within the scope of the question.
