I do not get all of this bickering about breastfeeding. If you were secure in your decision you wouldn't be seeking all of these answers to your ridiculous questions. Why are you so angry? Your decision about whether or not to breastfeed is yours alone. Why do you care what others think unless you do not think you made the right decision? Let’s all take a minute to chill out and get over it. Redirect your anger, put a smile on your face, and go hug your kids. They have enough to worry about in their life besides a bunch of grown women getting pissed off at something they can not control. What are you teaching your kids?!?

Thank you for saying something. I am very tired about reading all the BS about breastfeeding and bottlefeeding. What is the most important is that you are able to provide the best for your child either way.

I take a very strong drug called klonopin to control my seizures. I was able to breastfeed for 6 months with my last baby before the doctor said no more, and put me back on 2.5 mgs of Klonopin 2x a day. It is a class D med, and not compatabile with breastfeeding. Yes, I am a bit disgruntled because before when I was breastfeeding, all i got was thumbs up from everyone, now when these crunchy granola moms see me whip out the bottle, they always have something rude and crass to say about me and my baby. it hurts my feelings because I did not ask to have this health problem. I have to feed her in a safe way so she can be healthy, and IN MY CASE, breast is not best. Please think of someones situation before you offend them or hurt their feelings? OKay? And for the record, I love all my kids (I include my nephews as my kids too) and they are raised in a loving environment. who are you to judge that?? If anything, they are exposed to hatred and malice when i go to target to buy my baby's milk and some high and mighty little breastfeeder has to say soething rude about not just me but my BABY too!!! WTF!!?? Stuff like "You poor baby, your mommy must don't love you to feed you that swill". YES, that HURTS me, and sends negative vibes to my baby.

And yes, I did create two user ID's to ask more questions.

Breast feeding should be in a place where nobody else but mother and baby should be. Not in public for all eyes to see this. If children are meant to see something sucking a hind teet, it should be from an animal.
Yes breast milk is the best for the baby, but some folks dont want to see this in the publics eye. Thats why there are breast pumps, for these mothers to use, and then bottle this up and carry with you when you have the baby out.

I agree. It's that one chick with two or three id's causing a ruckus. Most breastfeeders I know deal with way more criticism than do bottlefeeders. She has some bug up her butt thinking that all of us breastfeeders are "boob nazis" and trying to shove our ideas down her throat. I'm just trying to stick up for us. I won't be slammed without slamming back!

Isn't klonopin for psychosis? Sheesh you are very messed up girl!!

I enjoy reading the disgruntled formula feeders posts..it's so much fun to make fools of them. They're a big joke in our breastfeeding group..LOL

Here, Here! I whole-heartily agree. I breast-fed my first two, but for some reason, could not produce enough milk for my daughter. It was rather tiring having to explain myself to others: bottle-feeding mothers would accuse me of being lazy and selfish when I breast-fed and breast-feeding mothers claimed I was not into "bonding" with my daughter. There is a reason as to why a mother would choose to breast or bottle feed their babies. Whether it be practical, financial or health reasons, they're all legit reasons and they should be respected.

Exactly! I breastfed because I could. I just can't stand being criticized for it and I really can't stand people who chose to formula feed but then complain to me about the price, reflux, etc. to me. If you have a problem with your choice to formula feed, don't complain about it to a breastfeeder! (and I am only referring to those who chose to ff, not had to because of bf complications).

I hate people arging over breastfeeding. It is a personal choice, no one can make it for you and no one should make you feel guilty if you do or do not.
