My concern is in watching the news is that Israel is calling up reservist for this one small conflict. If that is true then Hamas could counter attack them from the other side of the country weakening them greatly. If Hezzbolah is put on the ropes will Syria or Iran try to help? What if the US tries to stop them? Would Russia or China come to Irans' aid?

That is a true scenario that can happen. But, thank God, Syria will not attack anyone unless if Israel wander into its territory.
Also, is Iran. Russia and China have got the muscle which they can use to stop any crisis.
I am sure if at all, situations get to a critical stage they will wield their muscle to stop the rut. But, there will not be all out war.

I think its inevitable Syria gets involved, they'r still annoyed at getting pushed out last year (think it was last year...) and when Israel slows down, Syria are just gonna try and move in and capitalise. I dont think Hamas have the capability to do too much damage, not after the Israeli invasion last month, and the European 'buffer force' thats proposed seems a good way to prevent any major intervention form Iran or Russia......ahh i dont know and i suspect no-one can give you a definate answer! Place is all too stubborn to predict anything!

Give me a break, Israel has handled MUCH more then this all at once before. Read your history, Israel has been had to fight off the entire Middle East all at the same time, including Eygpt.

Hezbollah provides a challenge but in no means is going to keep Israel from being able to protect herself from other attacks if they happen.

As far as Syria and Iran, I hope and pray that they are stupid enough to get involved. That is all the excuse we need.

All that is happening was predicted in Bible prophecy over 2000 years ago. Once Israel became a nation again, (for the last time), this event would begin the prophetical "end times" time clock. And if I may paraphrase, it is stated that the generation that sees Israel become a nation, (which happened on May 15th, 1948), would not live long enough to die of a natural death before Jesus returns to Earth for the final time.
And during this last generation of time, there will be wars and rumors of war... (all centered around Israel!), and will continue to escalate until that final moment when Jesus comes and halts time just before the entire world is about to annihilate itself!
Also, there will rise in frequency, earthquakes and strange weather patterns in "diverse" places throughout the world, such as has never been seen before.
So... look around and watch what's going on right now as things ramp up... just as the scriptures foretold.
Yeah, the middle east is ramping up and will continue to do so!
And, if you want to read about history before it happens, study about "End Times" prophecy.

I agree with Tyrone.

Iran slipped through our fingers and got aligned with China and Russia. It's no coincidence that China has built up their military. I believe that they want to be the next superpower.

Look. Everybody has to die. People crack me up when they worry. "Oh my God! We are on the edge of Thermonuclear Armageddon." I would tend to worry more about the truck that might hit me as I cross the road. When I was growing up I used to wake up screaming having dreams the Soviet Union would have a nuclear war with America. My mother said, "Son. That is foolish. God knows when each of us will die. Why worry? If you are born to be shot you will never be hung." As crazy as that sounds it always gave me comfort. It is true that we could be on the edge of Total Nuclear War. Who cares? What do you want me to do -- go outside with my baseball glove and catch a nuke as its coming down? Forget about it. Relax. :-)

Come quickly, Sweet Jesus. A lot of us are ready and I pray for those who aren't.

luv2Bcurious is spot on, but you left out that His people who are still alive when Jesus returns, they will caught up in the air with Him before He (Jesus) sets foot on the earth to reclaim it.
