Hello! My bf did that before he could actually tell me that he liked me. We had been friends for a while, saw eachother everyday but were afraid to cross the good friends/ boyfriend girlfriend line. So, one night, when I was checking my e-mail, I recieved an e-mail from his hotmail account, I opened it, and it was telling me that he thought I was attractive and wanted to go out. So, I asked him about it the next day, and he tried to lie and say that it was sent as a joke- but from the look on his face, I could tell he was lying.
So, I just shrugged it off and said okay, trying to see if I could get an answer out of him. A couple of days later, I asked him out to prom, to see what this would lead to, and 2 years later I couldn't be happier! We worked together and talked alot about our feelings before we started dating. But even now, seeing as we IM alot, its easier to showcase feelings that way, even in our emails to eachother, because you have time to think about what you are going to say- go for it! Ask her out!

Ask her in person very directly, "Would you like to go out with me this Friday?" The worst she can do is say no. And 99% of the time, it they do say no, they are very nice about it and try to make you feel better about being turned down. Sometimes they are so nice to you when they turn you down, it is better than an actual date. Women are so Wonderful!!!

I have found this direct approach more effective than showing up at her work buck naked and dancing like a crazy chicken with a loud speaker and asking her out in song.

Don't just write her an email. You will look cowardly and lame. If he want to demonstrate that you are worthwhile, you need to at least have the guts to ask her out.

this is my advice so..... well now a days everything evolves around technology. computers, phones most likely around dating. shoot her an email or text message is sumthing now. me id advise some old school methods. girls like little letters, cuz girls like writing long letters. good way to get a point accross. email isnt really sumthing. email other girls about this or text then yea, dats da way to go. just go up to her, when u have a good moment around each other its best to just go for it. courage! like da lion needed in wizard of oz. that gives alot of guys leverage. give out an email on lil small flirty/game to her. loosen you up just a bit!

Send her a casual e-mail and ask her if she would like to go out for a drink sometime. Or, if you know what she likes you could ask her if she wanted to go to see a new film (which you know she would want to see)

Well you could always go the route of saying I've been thinking of going to see (insert your movie) would you like to come with me? Then after hanging out tell her you like her you would like to date her.
