I am 6 ft tall and can't seem to find anyone that wants to date me. Or atleast its hard to find one. I have been told that I am very attractive. It doesn't make sence to me. Are men intimidated by a tall woman? I'm confused.

Some guys are hung up on the issue of a woman being taller than him. It can be kind of emasculating.
I love long legs though, I would kill for a 6 ft tall woman. Look for a guy who loves you without your height even being an issue. It will happen, trust me.

I think some men are intimidated by tall women. This would, in my opinion, seem to indicate insecurity on their part. I also believe some men are attracted to tall women. I am quite tall and would date a woman taller than myself.

Yeah they do! Guys like tall girls, trust me! I'm 5'9" and on my list of requirements for a boyfriend was that he was at least 6' tall. And most guys that asked me out are 6'+ and honestly I am only really attracted to taller men. It's just me! :) But anyway, my current boyfriend is 6'3" and I love it! Good Luck!

Some men (including me) like tall women. However most prefer women who are shorter. Thats not necessarily indicative of being intimidated, but it could be the case for a few.

I'm only an inch south of you and use to have that problem. Guys love tall women, but they hate being turned down even more. They are probably thinking that you wouldn't be interested in some average guy sense you are a rare breed. Don't be shy, laugh a lot (but don't be one of those girls who laughs at EVERYTHING) and just let them know that you are just like every body else only slightly better ;)...lol

Of course, I'm only 5"4 and nothing turns me on more than a tall woman. It does make guys more timid meaning that you need to be outgoing. The only thing is are you willing to date shorter guys otherwise yes it is really attractive (just make sure your not stronger than a guy will think he needs to have something over you)

I think that some men are intimidated by taller women, you're not outragously tall, maybe you should stop trying to meet men at gay bars. I think tall women are sexy, I also think short women are sexy. I like women. Good luck.

Sweety we are in the same boat .. I am tall as well and well my man loves it ....He sees it as a challenge sort of a mountain to climb sort-of-speak.. You just have to find the right man.. trust me honey they are out there. Some men , well let me be honest most men are intimidated by tall women this is soley because they are not man enough to take on the challenge of dating a taller woman. Tall women are sexy, exotic and just downright BE-a-UTIFUL.....so dont worry youll meet your man who is gonna love every inch of you.....

some may be, men in general like to feel in control and want to be looked up to, society has taught this trait. I have dated women taller than myself and did not feel intimidated. I hope you find someone who is so into your inner beauty that they dont notice anything else.
