Check if you have a local Leonidas in your neighbourhood. Quality belgian chocolates(tip try the white ones with the coffeecream and nuts inside) most of them also carry a good range of Belgian choccolate bars. If you do want to combine chocolate with wine which is not really a classical combo try sweet white wine like Gewüztraminer, Liebfraumilch or a fine Sauternes

Have a good MErlot, and serve chunks of various chocolates - especially any chocolate that has 75% or more Cacao. It is a more bitter taste, but alternating with a sip of merlot will give you a fine appreciation for the intricacies of the chocolate flavours.
If you can, also try to find a slightly weetened Mayan or Mexican chocolate.
Good Luck!

Wine and chocolate...hmmm... maybe chocolate truffles and champagne would be a better combo. I have heard of people eating this combination but I am no expert, so I found an article about it that is quite helpful: http://www.domenic-anthony.com/food_for_thought/articles_champagne.asp
I like Godiva truffles.
Have fun! Wish I could join you!

I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but I love it when there are different flavors and textures mixed in.
Try some Choxie from Target. They have all different flavors - key lime, coconut, lemon raspberry biscotti, chili powder. They're also really beautifully designed, perfect for a party. They also sell truffles and hot chocolate mix, so yummy!

Dark Chocolate is best for you.
It contains a number of anti - oxidants and is made more from the bean rather than milk chcolate which is saturated in non essential fats

Buy a box of Thorntons Dessert Gallery, my favourite chocolates, they're soooo good!
Little Miss Trouble - to save yourself travelling to Germany, you can buy Merci chocolates from that classy supermarket we call Aldi.....

If you can find it, get chocolate from Germany. There's one brand called Ritter Sport that is "slap yo momma" good. If theres any military bases around you, your local grocery stores may have it, if not make friends with someone that can shop at the commissary and ask them to get you some from there.
