cut open a lemon and rub the lemon Rhine on hands if u don't have a fresh lemon bottle lemon juice will work.
i know u said besides lemon juice but the skin of a lemon truly works.....also wash hands dry and apply baby powder if u have no lemon juice

I'd mix the lemon juice with dishwashing liquid. I also have used a softsoap brand of hand soap with lemon/lime scent for the kitchen. Seems to work pretty well. Good luck! : )

If this sounds crazy I'm sorry but it works EVERY time...
Rub your wet hands on stainless steel. Our sink is made from stainless steel as is our faucet and it works to rub my hands on the steel after wetting them under the faucet and then rinsing. Of course, the sooner you can do this after the offending odor has penetrated the skin the better...this works just as well for garlic.
