theres a guy, that i kissed (nothing more, otherwise, he could go to jail...plus he doesnt believe in sex b4 marriage.) im 14, hes 18. hes so polite, though! my parents and all the adults that know him, told me that they think he's a little old, but hes prolly better for me than most guys out there that are 15 and 16. i asked this question b4, i just dont think everyone was quite getting it. hes so responsible, and his parents told me they would love it if i was his g/f. do you think we'll e ver be able to get past that age barrier?

you'll never get over the age barrier because you're still seen as a minor. once you're 18, the age barrier kinda goes away. he's 18 and should know better than to go out with a 14 year old.
you're both going to mature and feelings are going to change. You think he's better for you but he isn't cause he's just going to take advantage of you and how naive you are.
CAUTION, this guy can more than likely be a predator

i wonder why he is going for a girl so young... i would guess that he finds younger women easier to control and take advantage of (they are MUCH easier, from experience). be careful. HOWEVER, if he could just be a nice guy and like you for you, etc. and he might be right for you. proceed with caution! oh, and if you do hook up, then you too will have to put up with a lot of people's weirded looks, etc, because of the age gap. it will be hard.

i have the exactly same problem but no one knows about it except for me him... and now the entire yahoo community but anyways you should stay with him if he's really mature and what your looking for and if he'll wait for you until your 18 then he really loves you and stuff but the problem is he's 18 and even though he acts like he likes you and stuff he might just be in it for sex but i dont know cuz i dont know the guy but be careful

a guy i met at church.. im 15 and he's 21.. 6 year gap. we're pretty good.. and i believe that if you guys truly like each other, than screw numbers. So good luck!
