I'm okay with it, being a woman who loves another woman. However, there are so many unwanted children in the world, that I think it's best for couples to adopt if they can't have kids naturally.

It's their life and their choice and I am in full support if they want to raise a child together.

And for the close-minded bigots, there have been studies made of the effect on children who are raised by same sex parents. The children do not predominately become homosexual, instead they grow up as level headed, open minded and tolerant individuals towards the rest of society.

I think our society needs to accept the children of such a situation, and kids should be taught never to make fun of a child with gay parents. It is not the fault of the women that our society is unaccepting of children with gay parents. They should know well what the child may be in for. And they should be excellent parents who can teach their child worth and teach the child how to handle the bullying he or she may receive. If they cannot handle this, and are unsure they can give the child a good life in this situation, then they should not have the child.

I think it's a beautiful thing. To have two parents go through so much just to have a child. That's when you know the child is really wanted, as opposed to so many heterosexual people having kids that they don't want and then treat horribly along the way.

Bullying is going to happen no matter who your parents are. People are bullied for being overweight, the color of their skin, their religious background, the way they talk (speech impediments), the color of their hair, freckles, wearing glasses, having braces, etc.

Anyone who will go through as much as two women or two men having a child will take is a wonderful, loving person in my book. I'd rather see children with two loving parents than one or two that regret ever having them.

No different than I would feel about a heterosexual couple getting artificial insemination.

it is their choice, their lives... they deserve the right

although it be much easier if they have a dude drop some squigglys than having artificial insemination..

i hope this relationship lasts, and hope they are prepared to face the society's values that will be portrayed against them...

I bet I feel better about them raising a child than they do about having their privacy invaded and total strangers passing judgement upon them.

I think anyone who puts that much thought & effort in to having a child will also be more likely to be a thoughtful and responsible parent. We need more parents like that regardless of their sexual orientation, race, socio-economic standing, etc.

I am both, in general, pleased for the women and impressed that there hasn't been a stinging tirade against them in response to this question. Were you expecting more of an anti-gay uproar?

I don't have any feelings at all about it one way the another. What other people do with their lives should not be any one elses concern. I probably will always fail to understand why some folks are so concerned with what others do. What does it matter as long as they are hurting nobody? Leave them be, please!

That proves my point better than anything else. It is impossible for practicing homos to reproduce with each other. It takes two, Male and Female to reproduce. Doesn't that tell you something.
