If you ask me, i will personally oppose killing, which include abortion, especially for the rape and incest.
However, when one say that, he/she must be prepared to stand by the victim, and see that the problem is shared.
It is hard to comment, and it may seems to be "I am holier than you'. I can only say, I will pray for you, and ifyou need help, me and my wife is here.

let me state first I don't approve of abortion
for the life of the mother this should be between a doctor and the patient. There are cases of women who need medication
(psychotics, cancer victims etc.) the medication if taken would result in some serious malformation of the fetus. the medication if not taken could have some serious consequences for the mother. Some of these women have good reasons why they do not want their 'Other' medical condition known.
The choice to abort from rape or incest could be made very early on but the victims (esp. young incest victims living with their molester ) may be in denial, or afraid to tell anyone or let anyone know until toward then end when she no longer can hide the pregnancy. I think in this matter they should reseach women who have had the experience (both women who chose aborting and women who chose birthing). ask them if they had the choice to do over would they have the late term abortion or not. they unlike us have enough knowlege to say why or why not .

No. Rape and incest create two victims; the mother and the baby. To abort the innocent baby to "ease the mother's" pain is just as likely to cause more trauma. Late term abortion is an abomination; some babies who are aborted are older than other babies who are born premature and given phenomenal help to survive. In the rare cases when the mother's life is at risk, an abortion should be an option of last resort, to be decided with doctors in consult. In no case should abortion be an option of convenience.

Yes - and I agree, I have no problem with it if it's very early in the pregnancy (no more than a month), but people should not wait until the baby has been growing and is developing that's just wrong. Make the decision early. I mean you have the power to make life, but as harsh as this may sound you also should have the power to abort it. Under certain circumstances I do agree with it.

i think they are not good reasons. yes it is unfortunate the mom got raped but is it the babys fault? to wrongs do not make a right.the mom does not have a right to take that babys life. who knows if someone hasnt already aborted a baby who would find the cure for aids or cancer.they usually have abortions at about 3 months or so and the baby has a heartbeat at 6 weeks.it is a human being you would be commiting murder.and if you dont want the baby there are plenty of people who cant have kids but would love to.so there is no excuse.period.

The unfortunateness of the legalities of this subject is that they had to be instilled in the first place...to ensure a civil right...freedom of choice! No one, under any circumstances, has the superiority over another to thwart their personal rights.
And those who say they are fighting for the "lives of the unborn"...there are better causes to put their efforts toward that would more positively effect the masses...like take in homeless people, adopt older orphans, start a safe house for abused children & mothers...and the list goes on & on & on. These people stress themselves & everyone around them fanatically, over--yoo hoo! UNBORN people, when there are plenty in their neighborhood to assist who are alive & not well...

I believe that there are certain times when abortion is acceptable. But, those times are few and far between. Abortion is still murder and it is even worse when women knowingly spread their legs and then use abortion as a birth control instead of just being responsible from the get-go.

I don't support late term abortion either....I just see no reason for it. Three months should be enough time to do what you need to do.
I am pro-choice because whether or not it is legal, women are going to get abortions. If it isn't legal they will just be using hangers, bleach etc, or unlicensed doctors....and that's dangerous to the woman.

Yes, to your question in yellow.
The way to prevent abortion is not to make it illegal. That won't work. It never has. Whenever governments have made abortions illegal, they have not stopped them. Throughout the centuries, when women have felt abortion to be their only option, they have had them. Whether they were legal or not. In the two decades before abortion was legal in the United States, nearly one million women went "underground" each year for illegal operations. Thousands died for lack of medical care. Tens of thousands were maimed. All were forced to behave as if they were criminals in order to do what they felt was right for themselves.
The anti-abortion movement is increasingly hostile to the actual concerns of real people. They fail to acknowledge that lives are being ruined every day. Not by legal abortion, but by lack of education and access to contraception, by the lack of more effective, safer contraceptives, by men who refuse to share responsibility, and by society's inattention to the fundamental needs of our young people. Reversing this situation would prevent unintended pregnancies by the hundreds of thousands.

I don't agree with abortions for victims of these nasty crimes. Im not a supporter of it under most circumstances. I feel that once the baby's heart starts to beat, then it's too late for that. I am definetely with you on supporting the ban.
