tried fig wine in Greece "Once" worst tasting wine I have ever had!
O-and date wine was #2 worst wine

soak the figs in everclear (195 proof) alchohol. You might add some water or other flavors to weaken the mix.

We had two fig trees and all we ever made was mock strawberry jam.

putt them in a still add plenty of water and see what happens.
Figs are pretty sweet so they should make for a quite decent spirit(can't give garantee on the taste though)

I,ve looked this up in my wine making book, and it is very complicated. Loads of ingredients etc, and months to mature, don,t bother, hic....
