Best depends on one's viewpoint.
I like some of the many types of native English and highland Scottish accents, especially accents from around the Banffshire area, and Stoke-on-Trent accents, from the English Midlands, and Lancashire accents, from north west England. I like USA's deep south accents too.
It's amazing how many different accents and dialects there are in such a small region as the British Isles though.

I guess if there is a "best" it would be "the Queens English"
Also known as BBS English because for the longest time it was the only english accent that news services hired so it become the "official" english accent.
Interesting also, the official American accent is L.A. (Los Angeles) which is considered to be the purest form of American with no area dialect. Possibly for the same reason (decided by Hollywood)

Hey u searching for people with good english accent welll its the americans no doubt but they lack in thier writing . the brtishers master that. there are only two types of accepted english in the world that is the american and the british. other countries where english is not the native language, will have a "country accepted english" of one of the two. for example since india had been under the british rule the indian government has accepted british english which empasises on writing rather than speaking.
so to conclude american english accent sounds the best but there writing sucks!!!!

It depends on it's application.
I speak with an American-Mid-western Accent, but when I'm tired I've been accused of slipping into my father's Canadian accent. My mom, when she's tired will slip into her Arkansas accent. My brother just thinks we're all crazy.
I know I used to have trouble getting out of my Renaissance English accent during the summer...I was a Renaissance performer and we had very intensive dialect training.

I got, like, a full-on So-Cal mixed accent myself... ;) Even that, we got all sorts of different local sub-accents here that you kind of phase in and out of (surfer talk, ebonics with slang, formal "business speak" English at work, etc) depending on the situation and when it's appropriate.
Of all English accents in the world, I guess I like listening to Australians the best because they got such over-the-top lingo for everything and it's so different from what I hear everyday so I'm kind of fascinated by the way it sounds.

It depends on where you are from i guess. For me, i hate southern accents, i'm from the midwest. I think new zealand, australian, and british sound cool. (but that's probably because i live in the US and don't hear them that often)

To my southern California ears, Australian sounds bloody nice, and scottish is fascinating. But my favorite is (American) southern, when spoken by a woman.
