What on earth are you harping about?
You cannot disobey the Lord, if you obey the Bible's teachings, be it KJV, NIV etc.
The simple logic is that, the Bible is the Word of God. Following it means, following God. Obeying God means, obeying the teachings of the Bible.
'A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, a bad tree cannot produce good ones' - Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

KING JAMES version was the first thoroughly translated version all the other versions are translated from it which means if some of the meaning was lost in translating the Hebrew text into the KING JAMES version then every other translation would loose more meaning.
The bottom line , we as man (and woman) can't follow the speed limit all the time much less the word of god.
Know one is perfect ,he knows that and this is the really cool part..........HE STILL FORGIVES US all we need to do is ask for that forgiveness.

The one thing you must remember christian or not. We are all human first and we fall daily. If you thought that Christians were perfect and followed everything to a tea you would be crazy. We try to follow to the best of our ability but we all have weakness and allot of times fall prey to it. Do you follow and obey the laws of your state? I am sure you have been told not to do something and did it properly more then once... my guess is you have done allot of things you know you shouldn't. Did that make you less then a man or did it let you know you are a human and that you make mistakes like every one does. We are not perfect but we do try to follow and obey the Bible.

The KJV is not perfect, far from it. There are many verses that were translated completely wrong. In fact, the translators of the original KJV wrote in their introduction that they were translating from Greek and Hebrew, which can cause inconsistencies. In one instance they placed half a verse in italics because they were unsure whether it was original (1 John 2:23b). Moreover, the original KJV had the Apocrypha, something you don't see in the KJV today. There are other Bibles out there that take from an assortment of early writings (from both the Byzantine and Alexandrian traditions) which makes it more "unbiased".
