Are you teaching maths?

+ve plus +ve is +ve.
-ve plus +ve is -ve
-ve plus -ve is +ve.

Is that the concept?

Err. . . I think life is not like that. There is an English saying, 2 wrong doesn't make one right. Yea/

Marriage is instituted by God in the garden of Eden. God created women out of man, and the two shall be one. That is the ideal plan of God.

Jesus, in his teaching also affirm that teaching, in that the two shall leave their parents and be as one. The 2 shall become one flesh. Two different sexes become one. That the Homo can not fulfill.

If you believe in Bible, we can discuss further. Home is a sin just like any other. No worst or better. Go and sin no more.

If you do not take bible as final authority, than there is nothing to discuss about. Go ahead and have a homo marriage. Do as you please. Even animal don't do that.

May the Lord open your mind for understanding his word.

Because its not about sin... its about controlling people, especially peoples sexual practices.

This points out how important marriage is to Christianity... if they have to exclude homosexuals it proves that marriage isn't about love, but instead it's about sex. Homosexuals are just as able to love one another as heterosexuals.

Additionally, marriage is not a religious institution, it always has been and always will be a legal institution. The problem is that in most other societies there is no separation between church and state, but here there is. The church is just very reluctant to relinquish such a powerful control over the individual. Unfortunately our current government seems to agree with them. It's a pity.

there's a obscure implication interior the Bible that homosexuality is a foul component. The Bible has plenty and much to say about hypocrisy and adultery, yet you do not listen politicians or non secular leaders speaking about that. Why do you think it is? Is it because there is now no longer adultery or hypocrisy obtainable? it is all fastened? Or do you imagine that they overlook about that for the time of go with of trashing homosexuals (who, as i have stated, the Bible only condemns interior the vaguest language plausible) for another reason...say, to get votes from Christians who do not problem to study the Bible for themselves and want a scapegoat? yet then, that could lead them to hypocrites...hmmm. there's a progression the following someplace.

Why can't heterosexual atheists marry homosexual atheists. Wouldn't that make the heterosexual homosexual or at least bisexual ( at least they have double the chance of getting a date on Saturdays )

Jim, read Iron man comic books. Why?.............. better storyline less violence, and Tony Stark doesn't judge people on gender or religious affiliations. He just fights bad guys.

It's a valid point. I mean, if you're damned anyway, you might as well get damned a few times over, right? What are you gonna get - two eternities in hell?

The point of course is that the Bible could say whatever it wants is a sin - the USA is _not_ a theocracy... but as the first poster says, this point has been made over and over again...

The Bible also teaches that folks who commit adultery should be stoned to death. Do you know anyone who is in favor of that. Read Leviticus sometime it is really grim.

Atheism aside, it's a gender issue. Some do not have an open enough mind to accept human beings as they are. They will always see marriage as male/female, not male/male or female/female.

There is no need for athiests to be married either because it is a covenant with God, not just a legal term for loving somebody.
