No. I think that you can have a commitment to one person, but to never desire anyone else? That would be saying that you don't notice someone that is walking down the street as being attractive, and other various examples that could fit there. Humans try to be monogamous, but if you look at our true nature people may try to be that, and may even succeed, but they will still find some desire for others.

If your heart tells you so, you'll know. It is very possible for this to happen. The connections are out there for a relationship of this type and if you ever feel it you'll know. Hold on to it with all of your might.

We are human. It is in our nature to desire other human beings.
Now is it right to act on it? Not if you are commited to the person you are in love with.

absolutely, but love should never be confused with lust which is not for removed from desire.
love that deep must first grow from friendship, only then can a lasting love endure.
