I am hoping to hear from anyone in Australia or NZ who lives in the countryside or farms. If you have any room to spare, I would love to stay for about 6-12months in exchange for cheaper rent by helping around the house and cooking. I can cook Chinese food, curry, hot and spicy dishes, cakes, dessert, etc. I can't say am a good cook but consider myself as moderate.
I would like to have this opportunity because I have never lived in the country side before.
I am an Asian lady living in a city, am bored with hectic and stressful life.

I can't provide accomodation but perhaps you should try Youth Hostel Australia. Despite the name, they are for people of any age. They have accomodation located throughout australia at backpackers prices ($10-$25/night). You could travel wherever you like and see some of australia.
