you are going to get a lot of pissed off people on this one. maybe this should go into the "word play" category. Btw, I love dogs, and a good dog is a pleasure to be around, to play with and provides great companionship. Now, a Dog God would be interesting. We'd have to throw a Frisbee all day to appease him :-)
You aren't the first to imagine a great Dog God. The ancient Egyptians worshipped Anubis, the god of the Dead; he appeared as a man with the head of a dog or jackal.
