Did it get affected much by the flooding? If so, has it recovered? I was there a couple of years ago and had a great time, Americans really rose in my estimation.

It's as awesome as ever. I just got back from there and have been there several times before. Bourbon St. and the French quarter didn't get hit as hard. The outskirts are still a little creepy because they're vacant, but Burbon itself is doing well. Right now, New Orleans is hot as hell, so might not be the best time to go, but don't let anyone tell you that you won't have fun. Go support that wonderful place and have a blast.

New Orleans is up and coming hun! That part of New Orleans wasn't hit as hard. Here is my advice, Hit a bar and order you a couple of NEW ORLEANS STYLE HAND GRENADES and you will not notice anything else!! Have a great time honey, I have lived in Louisiana my whole life and NEW ORLEANS rocks!! Whooo-Hooo!!
