Isn't it strange how we
believe everything
that magazines and newspapers
say, but we question the words in the
Bible?

even G-d says we can prove/test him....
Mal 3:10 and,

It's not strange. People are conditioned to accept mass media from cradle to grave. Not everyone is trained to read the Bible. Add that to the fact that the Bible is under attack like never before in the United States of America and it isn't so strange that people are questioning it.

I don't believe everything the newspapers say, or TV, or the bible, or a priest or a cop or a school teacher. It's always important to get all the facts from as many available sources as possible, then discern your own opinion.

The Washington Post could write a full page article about how George W Bush is actually the child of alien mercenaries from the planet Habuka, and the majority of Americans would believe it.

I know. You are so right. I have known personally things there were printed in the newspaper and they were sooooo wrong. It's a good way to give someone a bad name. They should really do more research before they print this stuff!

Firstly, there are different opinions in newspapers and magazines.

Secondly they don't expect you to believe stuff about people turning staffs into snakes, or water into wine and all the rest of that rubbish.

I question everything I read - no matter where it's from. Magazines are owned by rich men with agendas. It's wise to be careful.

Yes I would rather believe a paper written today than a 2000 yr old out of date unverified fairy tale.

i thought most people believed everything the bible says without question. how else could you explain all of the warfare going on around the world?
