Ok. I'll just go specifically. In chapter 99, Sophie said to Leigh Teabing "I will never swear an oath with my grandfather's murderer. Except an oath that I will see you go to prison." This basically tells us that Teabing killed Sophie's grandfather. But, I thought Silias killed her grandfather.... Who actually killed Saunière?

The albino monk of Opus Dei (Silas) killed Sauniere earlier in the story. However, later on it is revealed that Teabing is actually the Teacher (Rector) who has instructed Opus Dei on the identities of the senecheaux and the grand master, leading to their deaths.

It is because of THIS that Sophie accuses Teabing of being her grandfather's murdere

Sophie thinks that Teabing is behind it all, so he is "her grandfather's murderer" -- the guy who gave the orders, even though he didn't pull the trigger. Silas, IIRC, was the one who actually pulled the trigger -- though he didn't know that Teabing gave the order, either; he got his instructions from the Bishop.

That's why they call stories like this "mysteries"!

Silias killed him but Teabing was behind it all, the ringmaster so to speak.
