I live in Liberty, IN, (in Union county) and have always wanted to be a minister. I have an ordination through Universal Ministries, and wish to start a church. Does anyone know the legalities that I would have to go through? Thanks!!!

Be blessed,
Byron Arnold

Your first step to starting a new church is to get followers. then they can give you the money to start an actual chuch.

Question. There are no good Bible believing churches in your area that you could join and be in Unity with?

I believe that Jesus weeps over the broken body of Christ and rejoices when His people can unite and show the love for one another that He said the world would notice. Perhaps if you joined a good solid church that wasn't perfect but close to your beliefs you could humbly serve there and then God would raise you up with the blessing of other believers.

First and foremost get a Lawyer and set up your Ministry as a non profit.
You should also have a charter from another recognised ministry.
You will need to register with the state, that;s where the lawyer comes in handy.
Yes it will cost you perhaps 1,000 total but then it's legal and above board.
Speaking of board you will need a board of directors.
