There is no one biggest sin- whoever is guilty of breaking one of the commands has broken the whole law. Oooops, that would be all of us. The only issue from there is : choice A - you accpet the Lord Jesus Christ as having taken the penalty for those sins, repent, and move forward in obedience to the perfect instruction of the Lord or B. convince yourself there is no God, continue in your sin, convince yourself the "God understands" and it is okay and deal with the consequences from there .

Stealing $1.00 is no different than stealing $1 million- though the earthly consequences are different, it comes from the same wrong motives and the same sinful desires. Any man who tries to place himself above another because his sin is 'not so bad' is a liar and a fool.

Same goes with hatred and murder- if you have hated someone in your heart it is the same as commiting murder- the earthly consequences might be more sever for murder but in God's eyes it comes from the same wrong motives and sinful desires and one that hates has no more right or easier road to forgivenes from God than one that murders. Both have been given the same path , Jesus, who died for ALL sin, to the Father's forgiveness and a relationship of mercy, grace and love

There are several interpretations of the word sin:
State Law: 1st degree murder
International Law: 1st degree Mass Genocide
Church Law: Blasphemy
Psychological Law: mental suicide (chronic depression)
Natural Law: Instigating atomic instability --> The atom bomb
Spiritual Law: consciously choosing sinfulness

The last two are not actually breaking those laws, as natural and spiritual laws are relative and merely subject to cause and effect, but they are a bastardisation of what we humans claim we want. So, for example, a person choosing sinfulness would result in the existence of another sinful person in the world. That doesn't automatically equate to that person actually sinning, so therefore it is not a religious sin, but goes far deeper into what the soul wants and the control the mind wields over the soul to impose it's chosen decision.

With love,
God

There is only 1 sin that can not be forgiven and that is called blaspheming the Holy Ghost, which happens when a person is baptized with the Holy Ghost and develops a close relationship with Jesus, but then turns away and acts as if they never even knew Him.

The Bible says there is a sin unto death; that is the biggest one. The unpardonable sin is attributing to the devil the works of the Holy Spirit or blaspheming the HS. Also rejection of Jesus our savior means no salvation. Accepting the mark of the beast, seems to me, is also an unpardonable sin. That is all i can remember right now. There could be others; ask your pastor, he or she may know of others. God give you light!!!

Whatever word used to describe it, be it "sin", "crime", etc., it is my opinion that the greatest sin one could commit would be to condemn someone else for having an opposing view.
Be it religion, politics, morality, or anything else, idealogical conflict has been the neverending source of pain and suffering for all of humanity throughout recorded history.

Most of the pain and strife perpetrated on behalf of governments and individuals alike could have been avoided if the opposing groups could simply agree to disagree so to speak rather than resorting to violence and other means such as manipulation and deceit to force others to conform to the same point of view.

Instead of teaching this to our children, we endeavor to pass along the same idealogical views we possess to the next generation rather than allowing them to develop their own thoughts and opinions on the subject.
Repeating this same mistake over and over is hardly progress, and doing this only lowers the standard of living for the entire world.

There is no big or little sin in the eyes of God. The unforgivable sin is denying the Trinity. Or God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit alone. To deny one is to deny all, and God will not forgive this.

that depends. if you are talking about the christian sense of the word sin, then it would be to renounce god. if ur talking about sin that will get you into trouble hear, then it would probably be 3rd degree murder. thos are the worst sins you can comit for both terms of the word.

The unpardonable sin the Bible refers to is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit - or not believing in God .
He reveals himself - but the consequences are in rejecting him.
But there is life through Christ!
