Yes it is pardon the pun the council of nicea tried to drown out all concepts of it but you can only do that for so long before someone catches on some christians dont like reincarnation because it undermines the church authority and the priests are afriad of that.

Reincarnation is one of the ways the Devil deceives mankind telling them they get another chance in life. You have one life, you should live it fearing one God, as good and honest as you can because that's what you get judged when you die.
