Ok, Im stunned, this is the first time I have ever heard of someone asking why women pat each other's rears, but Im sure if they started making out, there would be a lot more male viewers. lol.

Haha, yea. We do that during games usually when someone is being substituted in. Its just a sign of saying 'Good Luck' as the same way football players do it. We do NOT do it for anything sexual. Its just like patting their back.
