Yesterday during our conversation my girlfriend said to me that the thing she most likes about me is that I am very sweet and really down to earth, which she says is uncommon in men! What does it mean when a girl says this? I know she is looking for a serious long-term relationship.

She is letting you know that you are a rare male gem. Take it as a compliment, not that she thinks you are feminine.

I can't say, for sure, exactly what she means by this. But, I can venture to guess that this means she feels comfortable around you and that she trusts you, which is a good thing.
She is saying this is uncommon in men b/c its hard to find a good, lasting relationship. It seems like a lot of guys, at least the men I meet, enjoy being single and are not really interested in marriage and long term relationships with anyone and its kind of sad, especially, if you are a girl who believes in the commitment of marriage and a long term relationship.

well i was told that a couple of times and wondered the same thing i asked what you mean by down to earth and they told me if you didn't maby you should ask her what she meant by that

There may be two meanings, the first she is sincere and means it, and the other she is just waiting for you to screw up. Then she and her friends can say your just like every male. So prepare yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
