To those who think it's unimportant wether the world was known to be flat or spherical, many people after that time were MURDERED for stating what they knew, so yes, I think it's very relevant that if an 'omniscient' deity existed, he'd make that very clear to the few survivors.
Btw, since people love to twist words/phrases in order to suit themselves, 'circular' can mean two-dimensional...i.e. flat. But, thanks for the verse. I did not know about it.

You know now that I think about it that may have been something that Adam knew but the information might have gotten lost in that whole Tower of Babel Debacle!

But now I would also like to complain that Noah didn't kill those pesky mosquito's and roaches! I never thought of that before, but now I got a beef with this Noah guy!

Noah probably knew the earth was round in the Bible at Isaiah 40:22 says, There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, Isaiah written in Jerusalem, Time covered c.778 - 732 BCE
Job 26:7 says, He is hanging the earth upon nothing, writer Moses, Time covered Over 140 years, between 1657 and 1473 BCE. Man did know the earth was round but during the "Renisance Era" that concept was lost. It took a long time for mankind to relearn that the earth was round.

God spoke to Noah in his language and knowledge. Why didn't he tell him about in. and ft., instead of cubits? No one wondered if the world were flat or round back then, so it was not an issue. It was good enough to know that it was all created by God.

LOL!
I suspect Noah was a bit too preoccupied at the moment to really care much whether the world was flat, round, or cubicle.
God was more worried about what shape it was in, anyhow.

Others is correct when they say that it is irrelevant! Noah's duty is to obey the Lord of Host. nothing more than that. Maybe during the time of Noah, he didn't even know if its round or flat.

when did he tell him it was flat? the Bible plainly says that the earth is round, long before galilleo did. Isaiah 40:22
"He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in."

Because creator of the STORY didn't know the Earth was round. You may as well of asked why Darth Vader didn't Luke was his son on the Deathstar, after all that story is as real as the flood story.
