I am the same height as I was in the 1960s, but the window tops are now just below my shoulder. I suspect the floor has been raised to make more room for cargo down below.

The windows are usually at the point on the ovoid that is closest to a straight line.

They are the perfect height for me. Although sometimes I have to lean forward or back to see out of them. Maybe people were shorter when they started building commercial airplines.

not all air palnes are like that but i found that those airplanes have it like that because a very large precent are afraid of airplanes.
