I just received an e-mail from a Christian gentleman who devoutly believes this. They think that even 9/11 was contrived by 'the man' to further their agenda, and grab some easy oil. I find these beliefs to be extremely dangerous to our society, in that they can be used on the weak-minded much like Al-Qaeda prey on the uneducated to fill their ranks.

There are a lot of people who believe this - I'm in an area where it is pretty common actually. And it can provoke people to some pretty dangerous reactions. There have been shootings and some plots to murder local officials from groups professing to believe this New World Order.

Don't discount conspiracies of power too readily. The US was formed by just such a conspiracy, and Hitler rose to power by a conspiracy that has many parallels to 9/11. The new world order language has been uttered by Presidents in public, even though surely they know what it means.

Was 9/11 just such a conspiracy? We may never know, but there's a hell of a lot of facts about 9/11 that don't make any sense at all:

- Guys who had only the most basic of flight training were able to precisely manuever commercial jets to hit their targets on the first pass

- A passport (made of paper) of one of the terrorists was found in the rubble still intact even theough the fires were apparently hot enough to cause structural failure in steel, and even though the black boxes were completely destroyed

- The terrorists conspicuously left vehicles with 'how to fly a plane' instructions in them where they would easily be found

- The beneficiary of the attacks were governments around the world who have significantly increased their own power as a result

- A huge amount of gold that was stored in the towers has never been recovered

- Bin laden is still unaccounted for; maybe he's been dead the whole time

I am not allowed to click into any website of people I don't know.
But the bible speaks of a new system of things when god destroys the wicked. When the Meek will inherit the earth.
But I believe the Al-Qaeda was behind the 9/11 attacks.
why would the United States attack itself.
If they wanted to go fight for oil all they had to do is what they did.
Say they have nuclear weapons. we are all going up in a mushroom cloud. The fact they did it everywhere.
What about the embasy in Africa, UK subway.

There is a lot of paranoia in the world and a commensurate amount of paranoid theories. While it is true that FDR and Churchill envisioned a new world order through the UN, it's not true that the UN has a secret agenda to disarm Americans and create a fascist world government. It's the Christians who want to create a fascist theocracy, God damn them.

No I don't. Many of our early forefathers were Freemasons. Men who helped shaped this country and this government to what it was based on. It is merely just another conspiracy theory floating about.

Ethan Allen, Edmund Burke, John Claypoole, William Dawes, Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, Paul Revere & George Washington were all Freemasons.

Too many people are afraid to educate themselves.

it's odd that it was a christian person telling you about it, but the 9/11 hoax has been pretty well exposed- it's not hard to do. as far as the new world order- look at your money... it says Novus Ordo Seclorum on the dollar bill, which is latin for New World Order you got it kind of backwards, it's the uneducated that don't realize that the government is lying to them in order to make money for themselves. Dick Cheney has large amounts of stock in Halliburton, who gets government contracts to rebuild countries after a war, so War=money... terrorist attack=war... fake terrorist attack=money

It is all lies trust me. Alex Jones (infowars.com) is a theif. He makes this stuff up then people buy his products and he profits. None of his conspiracys make any sense. If the US wanted new world order it would've been done by now.
