Yes! Israel has the right to defend itself. The Lebanese Government knowingly and willingly allowed a Terrorist cell to operate from within its own country. They did so knowing that if there was a reprisal it would place all its citizens at serious risk. Any Country who harbors a terrorist network in this day and age can only be described as totally foolish. Now Lebanon is reaping what it sowed. This whole situation could have been avoided in the first place if Lebanon had used common sense.

As a Christian, I find the actions of Israel to be utterly criminal and of Satan. As a Christian, I am taught to love my enemies and to repay evil with good. As a Christian, I have leave to turn the other cheek and forgive seventy-times-seven any transgression against me. As a Christian, I am admonished to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty and to visit those in prison. As a Christian, I am to be a fruitful tree so that all may know my inspriation--Jesus Christ--and be saved through my example.
As a Christian, I am to not know the good deeds that my left hand is doing so that I will not be filled with pride.
With these things in mind, how can I condone--as Bush as done--the acts of the Jews since 1946 in the Holyland?
I do not find any Christian need to accept or be aligned with sin, crime, murder and the rape of entire peoples who Christian, themselves, or not.
I can only pray for the salvation of those poor, misguided Jews and the war machine they live in.
So, there is your answer. The world increaingly turns away from Israel--and America, the former nation with the great heart--as well.
Perhaps the Lebanese--who are 30 percent Christians in total as well as devout Muslims and Druizes--are being used by God as a way of resolving the Middle East issues that have existed since the rise of "Israel" in that area.

First of all war sucksssss, As fo the question HELL YEAH, i'm tired of these idiotic morons (Hamas, Hezbollah) that like to blow themself up, taking away with them innocent lives; also tired of all those arabic/muslim states denying Israel right to exist. Those muslims keep saying they are in jihad but I thought Qur'an sais to be mercifull.
I don't understand the palestinians ....I mean Israel did their best to take away the israeli inhabitants of the historically land of Palestina and they still aren't satisfied; They want Israel to release some extremist morons, plus they bomb Israel with Hezbollah's misiles. The atacks (phisically or otherwise) must stop on both sides.
Hezbollah should leave those soldiers free - they asked for this "war", i'm sorry about the innocent civilians that get in the middle of this conflict because some morons hezbollah wanted some extremist leaders released...........
LEAVE ISRAEL ALONE
PS: I'm not an israeli

I think their response is disproportionate, but i quite understand that they are trying to weaken hezbolla to allow the lebanese army to take over, time will tell if they are doing the right thing or not. What amazes me is y are the arabs such a difficult ppl to live with, it would have been better for the world if only them occupy the middle east and terrorise themselves or better still if we (the rest of the world) can send them to another planet where their activities will not affect any other person. They are such an impossible group of ppl, i won't be surprised if there is ever going to be any thirld world war or nuclear war it will originate from that region.

They have a very selfish purpose here. They provoked it and now are looking like the innocent ones....
America stays passive and rather supportive of Israel because they are their backbone. If Israel goes, America will collapse. America is just a puppet with Israel shoving their hands up American butts...
It's a powerful yet cruel nation...

Israel has proved to be very adroit in evading the consequences for its evil. So far, their control of the US government has made it unnecessary for them to exercise normal restraint, or morality, or prudence with its aggressive attacks on the Palestinians or on the neighboring Arab states.

Well I think that they are not going to benefit from this, because I think that they expecting major support from America, and I do not think we are going to give them too much. At least I do not think that we should.
