If a guy takes you out and you have a great time and stuff but he spends little money, is he cheap or broke. We went to a place that sold great food and had a lot of entertainment but we just walked around all day and I was really hungry. I would have liked it better if we would have done some of the activities rather than just stand around.

Could be either or neither. If he's cheap, he probably didn't realise you wanted more. If he's broke maybe he wanted to treat you but knew he couldn't. In that case, it'd probably be better that he admitted it to you so you knew he wasn't just being cheap.
Or maybe he's just not considerate?

Then you should have taken money with you to eat. If you were hungry you could have bought your own food. You should have asked that before the date.. " Are we eating there or should I eat before we meet up?"
Maybe he was waiting on you to say you were hungry? Sometimes you have to open your mouth .
As for spending money you really don't have to spend money to have a good time. Enjoying each others company is free and worth more than any amount of money.

If you wanted to do something, why didn't you suggest it? Also, were you expecting him to pay for everything? He might not be cheap, he might not have known what you wanted. Maybe you should also make it clear at the start of the date how it's going to be paid for..Dutch Treat, or what? It really sounds like you're leaving too much up in the air, you're hoping for things but you're not very clear about your expectations. Maybe you also need more time with the guy so you can learn more about his situation.

maybe he didnt realize that you were hungry, or he thought you were going dutch...

If you were hungry or wanted to do one of the activities maybe you should have said something, he probably would have said, okay or I really don't have any cash right now.
