We have had my cat (kipper) for ever. He tends to be annoying. Like wheni go near the food bin he thinks i am going to feed him but he has already been feed! I feed him a lot because there is still food in the bowl. What could i do! Besides get rid of him because he also my buddy.

Honey, that's normal. I use an electric can opener to "call" my cats for dinner; and yes its normal for them to be "trained" to come running when the food dish has food in it or not... your cat might like a change of diet; if perhaps you buy only one flavor of food you ought to try others. Get kitty some toys too.. but if you are still 'annoyed" then put the food dish away from the place where you frequent... so the cat wont be underneath your feet.

I am GLAD that you dont want to throw her (or him) away.... almost every cat i have cared for does this... just put the food dish in another part of the room where you dont walk so much...

Well, just dont feed him.Keep saying NO!!!!Or you can train him to come when a timer goes off so he knows when he is being fed.But if he's old,it might be a little hard!

Well maybe your cat is growing. If he's fat just ignore him when he comes to the bowl.

Wanting food is annoying? You must have a low tolerance.

our pets ..............they bring us joy and happiness at times ..........
and others they can just be downright annoying ...........

all we can do is give them the best care possible ..........
be patient ..............
and attempt to train them to behavior we find most acceptable ...........

they are really like a part of the family !
be patient , and love 'em ..........
that's what to do !

cheers !
