Hi,
First you have to know what you want. Then, if you have credit you can take a loan. Credit is built over time. Pay your bills on time; get and use a charge card but always make the payments, never late.

Get a good rapport with a bank. Build on that. Then you can get a personal loan (for Anything). The interest is higher, because it is unsecured (the bank only has your word, i.e. no title etc.)

first of all it depends on your credit score and what tier bracket you fall into. There are different tears for different types of loans; ie car, home, line of equity, etc..

for cars i believe tier one is 750-850 (for your fico score)
tier two is 700-750
and tier three and below is crap.

for home i believe it to be 800-850 for tier one
tier two is 750-800
and three and below is crap

with higher tier credit, you will recieve better interest rates and it will be easier to get credit for whatever you want.

My score currently falls above 750, and it is very easy to get credit for anything I need. Often creditors will compete for my business by offering low APR's.
