Why do average guys have more success with women than handsome ones?

Why is it that i see most attractive girls go out with average guys(not tall, not handsome, not rich,etc)?

Well the reason us girls go out with the average guys is because we know that we'll have a lot in commen with them and we know that they'll care more about us rather than if we went out with the rich and handsome guys that they would mostly care about is popularity and their money. One other reason girls go out with the average guys is because its not whats on the outside that counts, its whats on the inside that does count and with the average guys they are themselves are their girl and their friends unlilke the rich guys they act completely different around their girl and their friends

Too many handsome men are always on the lookout for a 'better' companion. Or, they are so into themselves that it's like they are cheating on you. He's so wrapped up in the world watching him that he just doesn't get how to be a good mate, for the average tp attractivr woman.

An average to attractive man is more into you as a person, not as a trophy. And, he can usually hold a conversation, knows how to be polite and attentive, and isn't as arrogant.

Not sure what you say is true. Anyway, perhaps you perceive them as 'average', but they have better personalities than the guys who you think or think themselves as 'handsome'. Beauty can definitely be enhanced by personality, or degraded by it. Someone who's beautiful physically could be a real irritating person, and someone with more average looks could really be a lot of fun and have a vibrant personality. Which would you want to go out with more?

Well, let's get a few things straight...it's not so much about looks as it is charm and confidence. There are many hideous men that have both, so these are the ones that have many women. Now, as for the really attractive men that are goofy or maybe with an off-beat personality, it's harder for them. Also, I know that if alot of women are like me, I become intimidated if a man is too attractive (nine or ten). I sort of automatically think that really gorgeous men are vain and womanizers (I know it's bad).

I think there is quite a mixed reason for this. First of all as you know that the beauty lies in the eyes of the ...... other thing is, women's are emotional, they like in their partner a simplicity, honesty, sense of hummer etc. (rather then complication and ego problem) so that they can feel relaxed. Which most of the so called handsome and rich lacks.

average guys, like average girls are generally more approachable and often more down to earth, not stuck on themselves

looks may help with the initial attraction, but its rarely looks that keep one interested..you have to have common ground and be able to talk

besides i would be alarmed at a guy spending more time in front of the bathroom mirror than i do, lol

i do not get the conceited vibe from you so no concerns. seems are what make both genders approach one yet another; we loved the way you seem and want more effective. however you being shy would not come for the length of so. If someone asks you a question are you short with them? Or snigger AT them? perchance they experience stupid chatting with you. If someone is chatting with you do you supply them your complete interest? Or are you texting or looking away? which could be considered as disrespectful and/or disinterested. i'm no longer declaring stare them down yet perchance your shyness comes off as disinterest.
