Well first off, its crowded in the halls...between the 9th-12th graders. I am in my 3rd year of high school, im gonna be a jr. (11th grader. I love the high school experience..I am supposed to be going into the 12th grade...but o-well. I think I should move up a grade...im smart. The reason why Im not going in to 12th is because of my birth date. I was born November 4th, 1989. You are supposed to be born b4 september 1st or in September 1st. I wasn't. But I still think my school should move me up a grade. im too smart for the classes i get. During my sophmore year at school I was taking 11 grade classes...talk about smart.
The supplies...
-notebooks (1 per class-make sure to get extras incase you might need them)
-Binder (like 2-3 of those)
-pencils
-colored pencils (histroy class-you color maps and other stuff)
-loose leaf paper
-folders (1 for each class for the whole year-same with notebooks-get like 3 eatra just in case one falls apart)
P.S. You get to pick the electives you want to take.
Make sure not to fail any classes...you need your credits in order to graduate.

I always recomment buying supplies a few days after school has already started, because teachers will tell you what they want you to get. Bring your basic notebook, pencils, pens and maybe a folder. Best way to save money!

I liked highschool and I wasn't incredibly popular but I made my mark as being class clown. Stick with your old friends but learn to make new ones. You may have classes with older students, so it's a good oppurtunity to make ties with them. I recommend you do not date older guys.

Highschool is nothing like the movies, there are your cliques here and there, the jocks, geeks, etc. But every highschool is different, so that may not even be an issue. The cliques in my school were all mixed up, so a lot of us got a long.

Fights may happen here and there, just watch from a distance. Don't get involved. If someone wants to fight, don't. But don't report them either, unless they physically hurt you, touch you or threat to hurt you. Snitchinng leads to big problems.

Reputation can be important to many students. Don't confuse people. Theres one girl I knew that dated a lot of guys, but never did anything in 'that' way. But because she was known to date guys, she got the reputation of bring easy and a 'you know what'. Just be yourself, though... your other freshman peers may not follow that, but I bet the older kids who grew up a little would appreciate that.

Gossip... just don't. Gossip leaves to drama and drama is one thing that can make a teenagers highschool expirience misrable. I advise you to just stay away. If someone is spreading a rumour, stay out of it. Unless you're willing to help a friend, whatever.

If someone wants to talk about you, it may hurt. But don't show that to them. Laugh in their faces and move on. Bullies live off the pain of others. If they realize it doesn't bother you... they'll go away.

Highschool is not much different that middle school. just more people, older kids, more homework, better classes and best of all... a new beginning. Have fun!

The levels are Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. As for what to bring, if you know how many classes you will be taking make sure you have a binder for each, get a good back pack and the basic back to school supplies. If there are any specific items that you need they will let you know. Every high school is different, so it's hard to say what your experience will be like. I didn't hate or love high school, but I suppose there are a few aspects of it that I miss. I don't get to see my friends nearly as often now, but in high school we would hang out every day. One piece of advice, write down your locker combo somewhere so you wont forget it! And be nice to the Seniors! At my school, during a pep rally the senior class threw dead fish at the freshman class (not joking), but like I said all high schools are different. I hope your high school experience is a blast! Make sure you get the most out of it (and not by partying and doing drugs as "suggested" above). You'll be just fine.

High School is pretty much like the grade that you're in now except that now everyone thinks that they are better than everyone else! The homework is progressively more difficult. If you don't worry about what people say, are a true friend and keep you head on straight you'll do fine. First you will be a freshman than sophomore than junior than senior. Get a sturdy back pack, because even though you do get a locker, you may not always have time to go to it...you may eventually share lockers with your friend who are closer to your class...make sure to get notebooks for each class, a student planner of some sort and plenty of pens/pencils...Keep in mind that boys are evil and won't grow up until they are out of college (or longer hahahaha) and don't succumb to peer pressure, people will respect you more if you can think for yourself. And if you plan on going to college keep you mind on your homework...and join some clubs...Key Club is great...

It can be a lot of fun, but at the time you'll most likely be stressed out (It's not only because of the pressures, it's just your stage of development). Take a ton of pictures, you'll laugh and cry about them later...and remember it's just high school!!!

Just remember ONE thing... Most of the time how people act in high school or how you are treated IS NOT how its going to work out in the real world. Its freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior. Get paper, pencils a good calculator like a T-I89. I loved high school, even tho I dont think I was extremely popular, I look back on it now and wish I had been more myself. But, Now, Im 26 & having more fun with friends NOW than I ever did in high school. I've met so many people outside those binding walls.

I really loved high school. On the first day of school, all you need is a pen or pencil and some notebook paper. Your teachers will tell you what you need for each class. The levels are freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior. I really liked high school because it was easy to get involved in different activities. Middle school was so bad for me because I was made fun of a lot and kids were just plain mean. In high school, everybody just kind of minded their own business. Don't be nervous and remember that the other freshman are new to high school, too. If you need help finding a classroom or something, ask teachers. Good luck and have fun!

High school is fun if you are social and are involved in extra ciricular activities. Sports, clubs, or student government. You have to find out what you like to do.

I can not stress enough how important it is to study, get good grades go to college.

School supplies are mostly pens, pencils, loose paper, notebooks, folders, an organizer, and a college calculator.

Oh, dont forget cool wraping paper, a magnetic mirror, and pix of your friends, and mag cut outs for the inside of your locker door.

We had lockers from 6th grade through 12th, in both my jr. high and high schools. I know they still have them because my little cousin goes there. My grade? I'm a college grad, first off, second... there are lockers in colleges too, you would know that if you were past the 5th grade!!!!

freshman, sophmore, junior, and senior. Just take some notebooks or binders, some teachers may actually tell you what you need for their class. High School is fun if you don't get involve in drugs and all that bad stuff. Make sure that whatever you do is because you want to do it not because your friends and classmates are making you do it.
Have Fun!!

Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior.

I graduated 3 yrs ago.

HS was great. Get involved in things while your their, clubs, events etc. Goto your junior and senior prom and try to goto a home coming. I regret not getting more involved.

Your first day you should take a notebook and a pen, teachers will give you requirements for their classes sepratly.
